This program includes classroom and “hands-on” experience in electronics, electrical, Mechanical power transmission, pneumatics, hydraulics, motor controls, and related math. During the first three trimesters, all students complete a set of core courses. Upon successful completion of the core courses, each student may choose two of four electives for the 4th and 5th trimesters. The electives are basic welding techniques, programmable controllers and robotics, basic machine tool or heating ventilation air conditioning & refrigeration. Students completing this program are prepared to perform at entry-level skills needed in the maintenance field.
Class hours are Monday - Friday from 7:45 to 2:15.
The evening class meets Monday - Thursday from 1-9 pm and part-time may be available for students working.

Program Credentials
The full-time Industrial Maintenance day students meet 30 hours per week Monday –Friday 7:45am to 2:15pm
The full-time Industrial Maintenance evening students meet 1pm to 9pm Monday through Thursday. To accommodate those who work first shift jobs, part-time modified students may attend 4:30pm to 9:00pm Monday through Thursday. These students attend 16 hours per week which makes them eligible to apply for financial aid.

Job Duties
Repair, install, adjust, or maintain industrial production and processing machinery or refinery and pipeline distribution systems. May also install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to plans.
